BUC (Belle Urban Cab)

BUC is the City of Racine’s city-operated taxi system. The BUC operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. BUC services passengers with two taxi sedans and one minivan. Taxi service is provided throughout the City of Racine and takes passenger trips originating as far west as Ives Grove. The cost to ride in the taxis is $3.00 for the first mile and $2.00 for each additional mile. For additional information or to schedule a ride, call 636-9282.

• Service Area (Dropoff): Not Beyond the State of Wisconsin
• Fare: $3.00 First Mile, $.25 Each Additional 1/8 Mile
• Animals on Taxi: Yes – Only Small Animals in Carrier
• Additional Passenger(s) Yes – Fare Will be for Furthest Distance
• The BUC reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
• It is the passenger’s responsibility to watch for the taxi. The taxi operator will wait no longer than 10 minutes for a passenger.
