Paratransit Dial a Ride Transportation (DART) 

Providing Mobility and Independance through the provision of safe and reliable transit.

Dial a Ride Transportation (DART) is an economical door-to-door service designed to transport qualified individuals with disabilities who are prevented from using fixed route bus service. DART is provided by the Belle Urban System. This service is offered in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. The disability may be permanent or seasonal and is further explained in the attached brochure entitled "City of Racine Specialized Transportation."

Hours of Operation:

Hours and days of service are identical to the Belle Urban System, fixed route service:

Monday -Friday Service is provided as early as 5:00AM with the last trip scheduled no later than 9:40 PM.

Saturday Service is provided as early as 5:30AM with the last trip scheduled no later than 6:10 PM.

Sunday Service is provided as early as 9:30AM with the last trip scheduled no later than 6:10 PM.



DART is provided door-to-door, within 3/4 of a mile of the fixed route bus system. Rides are $4.00 each way (exact change is required. Operators do not and are not permitted to make change. All ride tickets are non-refundable and non-returnable.

If you live outside the Belle Urban System service area and think that you qualify for specialized transportation, please visit the Racine County Human Services website www.hsd.racineco.com and go to the section titled "Adults" then "Specialized Transportation."
